About us

Welcome to the Light
For All network

At Light For All, we believe in our African culture, which suggests that an underprivileged child is taken care of by the community. We promote a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility and carry a message saying that, despite a difficult childhood, they can still make it in life if they are given the opportunity to unleash their full potential.

Together with our sponsors, we are creating a spiting of unity, compassion and are bridging the gap between those who have nothing and those who have.

Vision

A society where the less privileged access quality life

Mission

To create opportunities for the less privileged in order for them to enjoy their rights, access education and livelihoods.

What makes Light For All different?

At Light For All, we work relentlessly to create a world where children and youth in challenging conditions are protected through education because we believe that school is a place where refugee children and youth find normality. It is a place where they can heal and unleash their full potential.

To bring this lasting transformation, we rely on the generous support from so many individuals and communities, we are grateful for the trust and generous contributions our donors and sponsors invest in our work.

Safe havens for support

Children in poverty are more likely
to be exposed to the stress of violence, gangs and drugs. This can negatively affect brain development and long-term well-being. Your support during this vulnerable time helps children and youth set their own goals to build a life free from poverty.

Good that grows

When you sponsor a child, you create a
powerful multiplier effect. You help them see beyond the daily struggles of life in poverty. Your support releases them from a cycle of short-term decisions and helps them gain the ability to begin contributing to their own families and communities.

Customized programs

Sponsorship encompasses key programs
specifically designed to address a child’s toughest issues in their fight against poverty. Getting and staying healthy, staying in school, finding a stable job. You can help a child overcome challenges they’d otherwise face for a lifetime.
